Sometimes, when I need to unplug, my brain still wants to create. That’s when I get hands-on to express creativity. This section is basically just a random craft-dump where I share stuff I’ve created or modded. IT will also serve as an archive of random creative efforts that felt out of place in the focused Personal Projects section of the website. There are no hard rules on subject matter here… it’s just kind of a creative space outside of the website’s main focus, and a fun way to archive and remember past endeavors large and small.
- Machine Mods & CustomizationMy love for retro 80s and 90s 8-bit video games is a big part of my nostalgic vibe. From collecting old games and consoles, to video game history preservation, to pixel art and chiptune music. I’ve only started to dabble into modding machines, but its…
- Painting TTRPG MiniaturesI’ll be the first to admit that my talents do not currently reside in the arena of miniature painting. Despite my lack in skill and experience, I still quite enjoy the process. I find it an amazing stress reliever and distraction when I need to…
- Starfinder Space GoblinIn spacez, no wun can hear yoo singsong¿ When Starfinder (Paizo) released, I went all in. I think I have everything published in the first two years, as well as packaged miniatures that were never released, the auctioned rule book with all the design team…
- The Green Knight’s HelmThe Green Knight’s helm is a mod project I undertook awhile back while paying homage to a childhood adventure. An unwitting quest that went awry, and then concluded nearly two decades later by the conversion of universal oddities. For this project to come about, some…
Even More Crafts & Moments of Artistic Expression

Photography
I don’t fancy myself a professional photographer, but I do enjoy capturing moments that I find aesthetically appealing. This gallery has no central theme and is a small selection of photos I’ve taken over the years. My simple gear kit is an old Kodak ES Z981 with a Schneider-Kreuznach Variogon 26mm Optical Zoom lens, or whatever smartphone camera I happen have in my hand.

I enjoy spending my time around things that bring me joy, often that tugs at nostalgia and prompts inspiration. So, I often create themed displays. I have been a collector of vibes for most of my life, and being an eclectic geek means I have a wide array to enjoy. See some of my displays by clicking here.

An Experiment with Acrylics (Archived)
A 2022 series done with acrylics, pressed board, and glass. The 12 x 16″ pieces are a numbered set in a series I titled, “The Place Behind My Eyes”. Making them was a fun learning experience, and working with my hands and physical media was a nice change of pace. A decent distraction from some momentary digital burnout.

The Quilt of Dreams (Archived)
The Quilt of Dreams was a digital art project I undertook in 2012 visually documenting elements from several dreams I experienced. 24 individual artworks each piece incorporating aspects of a dream. Done in an abstract style meant to simulate my experience with audio-visual synesthesia. Click here to view the gallery.

Short Film / Music Video (Archived)
In 2007 I wrote and produced a short film / music video for the song “Behind the Trees” as a part of a promotion for the songwriter Seth Fentress. My intent was to tell a story using a hybrid style between 8mm footage and silent film, with the song as a backdrop. Find out more and watch the video by clicking here.

Old-school Print Design (Archived)
When I was a teenager back in the late 1990s and at the turn of the millennium I worked in advertising design for a couple of area newspapers and the local television station. It was what you could call my first full-time professional job. This gallery contains a few clipping of my designs saved from old archives.
