I have multi-decade experience in web design and web application development and have developed hundreds of professional websites for clients. I ran a web development firm for many years before pursuing my passion for the game design industry full time.
Having “retired” from web development as a career, it’s not a service I typically directly offer, however over the years I have included website and web app development as part of larger contracts for game publishers or when a specific concept inspires me. If you have a gaming-related site you would like to see realized, please feel free to inquire.
My Gaming-Related Website Designs

Dark Naga Adventures
Publisher Website
I developed and designed the Dark Naga Adventures publisher website using a custom content management platform I built for them to integrate into their hosting plan. It’s a standard website and was part of a series of contracts that included multiple crowdfunding campaign designs, marketing ad advertising design, as well as content creation and cartography.

AetherCon Online Gaming Convention
Convention Website & Platform
The AetherCon Online Gaming Convention platform was an advanced multi-tiered project that integrated web design with dozens of custom web application including event management, scheduling, integrating multiple streaming video components, account management, and event ticket management. If you’d like to read more about it, there is a section here on the site dedicated to the archiving the project.

AAW Games Mini-Dungeon Tome
Adventure Assistant Website
The Adventure Assistant was a website I created for AAW Games upon the publication of their Mini-Dungeon Tome. The website was dedicated to helping game masters find the perfect adventure for their game session from the massive book. It included advanced search and filtering features as well as extensive details and previews of every adventure.

AAW Games Mini-Dungeon Zine
Adventure Assistant Website
The Mini-Dungeon Monthly Adventure Assistant was a sister website to the original Adventure Assistant for AAW Gamees‘ Mini-Dungeon Monthly Zine. I created it to be themed around the black-and-white print zine and had additional filtering and search features added that were relevant to the zine issues.

AvatarArt Character Portraits
E-commerce Website & Customer Portal
AvatarArt was an online service that created character artwork for customers. The website provided a full support system and portal that allowed the artist and customer to communicate throughout the creation process, escrow the payment, maintain several checks and balances, and enforce policies to assure all parties were satisfied throughout the commission. From 2007-2024 I was the service’s webmaster and web developer.

Legendary Games Hypercorps 2099
Product Line Promotion Website
This website was a fun “mock up” website I designed for Legendary Games which pretended to be the official website of “Jarrikol Industries” one of the fictional corporations found in the Hypercorps 2099 campaign setting. It was a fully functional website that merged actual news with an ongoing plot that unfolded during the crowdfunding campaign.

Rogue Genius Games Veranthea Codex
Product Line Promotion Website
This website I developed as a dynamically populated splat page pulling from RSS to compile announcements related to the Veranthea Codex product line from Rogue Genius Games. It began as a promotional spot before crowdfunding the project, then later as a method of “late pledging” before such features were offered by the various crowdfunding platforms.

Interactive Adventures for Kids
“Choose Your Path” Website & Platform
I originally developed this web platform as a concept for a series being created by Playground Adventures, though I ended up completing the development just for fun when the series was put on hold. It allowed admins to create text adventures for kids using a simple “choose your path” mechanic. The back-end of the website provide easy access to create branches and results.

Paths to Adventure Blog
Google Blogger Website
This website was the predecessor to the website you are currently viewing, but functioned much more like a straightforward blog than a standard website. I custom designed the template and manually coded custom CSS for the Google Blogger platform that it ran on between 2012-2024.

I left both portals active for a few years before transitioning all backers to DriveThruRPG.com for future downloads.

AAW Games Map Preview Index

When the collection of available VTT Map Packs from AAW Games increased beyond a few dozen, a need for a convenient way to browse through the maps in each pack became necessary.
